Meet the cast of
Taleah Abolt (Mr. Mayor, Cat u/s) is a senior at Yuba City High School. She's been in several shows, including Into the Woods as Lucinda, Clue: The Musical as the Detective, and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown! as Peppermint Patty. She has been dancing for thirteen years, and has been at Transitions Dance Center for the past two years. She's excited to be a part of Seussical and get the chance to work with friends from previous shows again!
Ella Barrow (Bird Girl) is a 7th grader at Twin Rivers Charter School where she has participated in Band, Choir, and Theatre. She played Margot in Legally Blonde Junior and was a member of last summers Seize the Day Production. Ella has also been a competitive cheerleader for 6 years at Riley's Cheer Academy. In her spare time, Ella loves to bake, swim, sing karaoke, spend time with her friends, and entertain small children!
Molly Barrow (Jungle Citizen, Cadet) just recently discovered her love for singing and is excited to be in her very first play. As a 5th grader at Twin Rivers Charter School, Molly has participated in choir and is excited to start Band this Fall. Molly loves spending time with her cousins, swimming, and playing with her dog, Tater Tot. Molly also loves playing soccer and singing karaoke.
Katie Benson (General Schmitz, Hunch, Sour Kangaroo u/s) is excited to be appearing in the role of The General in Center Stage Production’s Seussical. She has been training in the performing arts since she was 3 years old with the Sacramento School of Ballet and the Sacramento Theater Company. She also trained locally with the Plumas Lake Children’s Choir and Rise Up. Katie previously appeared in the role of Sarabi (Simba’s mother) in The Lion King, as well as many other plays and ballets. Katie is a rising high school freshman at the Marysville Charter Academy of the Arts.
Camzin Black (Young Kangaroo/Jungle Citizen, Cadet) is very excited to appear alongside her three older siblings in Seussical this summer. Camzin is eight-years-old and will be entering third grade at Butte Vista Elementary School in the fall. She comes from a family who all play sports but Camzin always dreamt of becoming a dancer. After dancing to the ending credit song of every movie she watched for two years, Camzin’s dreams came true and she now takes jazz and hip hop at Transitions Dance Studio. Camzin hopes that you enjoy the show and that all your dreams come true too.
Savannah Black (Thing 2) is thrilled to be performing in her second show with Center Stage Productions. She has appeared in other local productions including Super Happy Awesome News, Broadway Here We Come, and Seize the Day. Savannah will be entering seventh grade in the fall at St. Isidore's Elementary School, loves all things Greek mythology, and is a talented dystopian writer. When Savannah is not on stage, she plays competitive softball. Savannah hopes that you enjoy the whimsy and fun of Seussical the Musical.
Tristan Black (Judge Yertle, Wickersham), your resident Yertle the Turtle, fell in love with acting several years ago and has performed in productions through The Acting Company and Yuba Sutter Arts. His favorite performance so far was a parodied version of the Tin Man in a production of The Wicked Witch of the Wild West. Tristan will be entering sixth grade at Butte Vista Elementary School this fall and loves to read, play baseball, and compete on his school’s Odyssey of the Mind team.
Wesley Black (Wickersham) is very excited to appear in Seussical with Center Stage Productions. Wesley has appeared in local productions including Seize the Day, Broadway Here We Come, and Can You Hug a Cactus? Wesley loves to play baseball and fish, and will attend fourth grade at Butte Vista Elementary School in the fall. He hopes that you enjoy the show and watching him be a monkey.
Mia Bumpus (Jungle Citizen, Cadet, Hunch) is 12 years old. She lives in Yuba City with her Mom, Dad, her 4 sisters, and her dog. Mia attends Franklin Elementary school where she is a 7th grader. Mia has a passion for acting, dancing, singing, playing piano, and tennis. This is Mia's first year of acting with the Center Stage Productions company and she is very excited for the opportunities she is granted and for what is yet to come.
Gracie Caggiano (Who, Circus Performer) is 9 years old and entering the fourth grade. This is her first experience singing and acting on stage, but she is not a stranger to the stage. Gracie started ballet at the age of three and performed in Nutcracker and recitals for two years with San Benito Ballet. She now dances at Studio B Academy of Classical Ballet and takes part in ballet, tap and contemporary. When Gracie is not dancing she likes to spend time with her chickens, turkeys, cats, and dogs.
Paige Clements (Mayzie LaBird) is thrilled to be making an appearance in another Center Stage Production! Paige is getting ready to start her junior year at Wheatland Union High School where she is active in choir, Future Business Leaders of America and Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America. When not on stage, Paige is a lifeguard at her local pool, is a voracious reader, and loves to make TikTok recipes in her kitchen. She would like to thank her family for their support and for chauffeuring her to and from all of her events. You guys are the best! She would also like to thank her Center Stage family for being such great teachers and for their never-failing encouragement.
Ashley Comparan (Who, Circus Performer, General Schmitz u/s)
Harrison Copier (Vlad Vladikoff, Cadet) is a 5th grader who attends South Sutter Charter School. Seussical is his first big production and he is happy to be a part of it. Other than singing and dancing, Harrison likes to play baseball, piano, and board games with his family. He's very grateful to be a part of this show and can't wait for you to see it!
Triton Copier (Jungle Citizen, Cadet) is a homeschooled eight-year-old who loves to perform in front of an audience. His previous theater experiences include an acting class where he performed two plays called Barnyard Friends and The Greatest Show. He also loves to swim, play video games, and draw. He is thrilled to be a part of this production with his older siblings and hopes you enjoy it!
Violet Copier (Bird Girl) is in the 10th grade at Wheatland Union High School. She has been participating in theater for six years now and is glad to be in a production of Seussical for the 2nd time! When she isn’t on the stage, she can be found playing volleyball, teaching piano lessons, or writing. She is excited to be a part of Center Stage Productions’ second show!
Aedan DeMeritt (Horton), a rising Senior at Faith Christian High School, has immersed himself in musical theatre for most of his life. Notable roles include Peter in Peter and the Starcatcher, Albert in Bye Bye Birdie, and The Baker in Into the Woods Jr. Having started with Seussical the Musical as the Elephant Bird Baby, Aedan now feels a sense of completion as he takes on the role of Horton. He expresses deep gratitude to the talented cast and crew for their remarkable work on this amazing show.
Kylie DeMeritt (Thing 1) is so excited to be returning for another summer with Center Stage! She appeared last summer in Seize the Day and has also performed in a number of shows with the FCS players. Kylie is going into seventh grade at Faith Christian Junior High. She loves drawing, making slime, and eating pizza. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Zoë Grace Serenity DeMeritt (Young Kangaroo/Jungle Citizen, Cadet) is so excited to make her theatrical debut as Baby Kangaroo in this production of Seussical. Zoë is going into second grade at Faith Christian elementary and in her free time Zoë enjoys gymnastics, drawing, and singing. Zoë hopes you all have as much fun watching this performance as she has performing in it!
Simi Dhami (Bird Girl) is very excited to be in Seussical. She is in 7th grade and attends Twin Rivers Charter School, where she also participates in choir. Simi has been in two plays thus far including, Legally Blonde Junior and Seize the Day. Simi loves spending time with her family, drawing, and playing with her adorable rabbit, Snowball. Simi would like to thank her friends for encouraging her to engage in the arts. She would also like to thank her mother for everything she's done for her. She hopes you all enjoy the show!
Angelina DiGiacomo (Who, Circus Performer) is so excited to perform in this amazing production of Seussical. Angelina has a strong passion for singing, dancing and musical theater. Outside of Musical theater Angelina also enjoys martial arts. She also loves taking vocal lessons and dances at Rising Stars Dance studio and Studio B. She currently attends Twin Rivers Charter School and will be entering the 4th grade. She would like to thank her family and friends for all their support and encouragement.
Bella DiGiacomo (Who, Circus Performer) is excited to be a part of this production of Seussical. From a young age she has had a strong passion for music and dance. She currently attends Twin Rivers charter school and will be going into 4th grade. Outside of the performing arts Bella enjoys doing martial arts with her friends. She is currently a green advanced belt. Bella thanks her friends and family for supporting her in chasing her dreams of becoming a performer. Thank you and enjoy the show!
Danielle Gatlin (Sour Kangaroo, Gertrude u/s) is 16 years old and super excited to perform in this show! She is a current Junior at Marysville Charter Academy For The Arts (MCAA) and is very active in the arts at her school, as she likes to sing, dance, and act. Danielle has been in many of the school's productions like, The Little Mermaid as Scuttle, and Puffs where she played Susie Bones and Myrtle. This is Danielle's second performance at Center Stage Productions, as she was previously in Seize the Day. Danielle wants to thank her Mom and her boyfriend for supporting her through rehearsals. Cora Goettman (Bird Girl) is very excited to perform in the musical, Seussical! She will be a 7th grader at Franklin and she loves to sing and dance. Cora’s first theater experience was 5 years ago in Trenton, Michigan as Angelfish in Go Fish. She also performed in Season of Giving 2 at The Acting Company. Outside of theater, Cora enjoys reading, swimming, playing chess, basketball and hanging out with friends. Cora wants to thank her family for all of their support and love!
Elizabeth Hansen (Grinch, Hunch, Mrs, Mayor u/s) is a young actor who hopes to be working with Center Stage Productions far into the future and is very excited about this production, Seussical. She is currently going into her junior year at YCHS. At school, she works with the YCHS Backlot Theatre and drama program. There, she has been involved in different productions, including most recently: Remains To Be Seen. At The Acting Company, Elizabeth worked on Paint Your Wagon, as both a fandango girl and as an understudy for the role of Sarah, a Mormon wife. This included doing multiple shows challenging quick changes.
Allie Hanson (Who, Hunch) is 16 and a senior at Sutter Union High School. She has had prominent roles in six shows at Sutter including Dr. Livesey in Treasure Island, Zara in Aladdin, and Mrs. White in Clue. She has a strong passion for not only acting, but also dance. She has been dancing at Studio B for 14 years and will be completing her final year during the upcoming season. Allie is so excited for all of the memories this show will bring as well as to perform in her first ever musical!
Emily Hessler (JoJo/Who, Hunch, Circus Performer) is a 12 years old student at TRCS. Emily previously played Paulette in TCRS’s drama production of Legally Blonde. She has been studying dance at Studio B for the past 3 years and is very involved in her community. Emily has been a Girl Scout since she was in kindergarten and has loved singing and dancing her whole life. When Emily isn’t singing and dancing, you can find her walking her beloved dog Bailey, hanging out with her family, and playing the piano and clarinet. She is very excited to learn and grow by participating in Seussical with Center Stage Productions.
Addison Kersting (JoJo/Who, Hunch, Circus Performer) is overjoyed to be in this show!! She has been in many shows at The Acting Company and is part of her drama class at Twin Rivers Charter School. When Addison is not working on a show, she is dancing with the Yuba City Youth Ballet. When she gets home, she enjoys baking and spending time with family. The most recent performances you can find Addison in is The Nutcracker (YCYB) and Legally Blondle Jr. (TRCS). Addison would like to thank her parents for always supporting her!! She hopes you'll love the show as much as she does!!
Avery Kersting (Who, Circus Performer) is a dancer, singer, and actor and is excited to be in Seussical! She is 9 years old and was most recently seen in Studio B's The Nutcracker as a Mouse and a Flower Attendant. Avery was also in Geology Rocks and The Gingerbread Man at her school, and performed in Seize the Day with Center Stage Productions last August! She loves her pets and she thinks owls are very cool. She wants to thank her parents for helping her succeed through their never-ending support. Avery hopes you enjoy the show!
Brooke Kersting (Mrs. Mayor, Mr. Mayor u/s) is thrilled to be working with Center Stage Productions on this show!!! She has been in many productions with The Acting Company such as Little Red in The Fairiest of Them All and July in Annie. When Brooke is not acting, she is dancing at Studio B Ballet and is also a part of Yuba City Youth Ballet. She was recently seen in The Nutcracker (Yuba City Youth Ballet) and Seize the Day (Center Stage Productions). Brooke would like to thank all of the directors and cast members for being so supportive and putting on this wonderful show!!
Cameron Kersting (The Cat in the Hat, Horton u/s) is starting his junior year at Yuba City High School and has been performing for the past eight years of his life, with his most recent role being Jack in Into the Woods at YCHS. He was also in CSP's Seize the Day revue last August! Alongside acting, Cameron also loves to dance and has been taking classes at Studio B for the past six years, as well as being in the Yuba City Youth Ballet for the previous three years. He's thrilled to be a part of this amazing cast, and hopes you enjoy the show!
Kiara Marino (Wickersham) is super excited for this show and can’t wait to show it all to the big audience. She is 9 years old and is in 4th grade at Butte Vista School. She loves to act, dance, sing, and play. She has a powerful voice and great dancing skills. Kiara is playing a Wickersham and she’s really proud of her role. She has also been in other shows like Seize The Day and The Lion King Jr. Seussical is her favorite show so far because her older sister Mika is also in the cast.
Mika Marino (Bird Girl) is nervous but really excited for her first musical performance! She is currently a 12th grade student at River Valley High School. She has always wanted to be in a musical, but has been too afraid to try. Thankfully, she has an inspiring younger sister, Kiara Marino, whose talent in singing and great confidence encouraged her to finally give it a chance. Off stage, she’s into culinary, arts, photography, and video editing that allow her to express herself in comfortable ways she can’t otherwise. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Adelynn Marton (Who, Circus Performer) is thrilled to make her debut in her first musical! She has an infinite love for music and dance. Adelynn has performed in multiple dance and singing recitals over the last few years. She attends Twin Rivers Charter School and will be going into 4 th grade. Outside of the performing arts, she also has a deep love for martial arts and is currently an advanced green belt in Tae Kwon-Do. Adelynn would like to thank her parents, extended family, and friends for always supporting her ambitions and dreams.
Mairi Osborne (Jungle Citizen, Cadet) is a 4th grade student who loves school. She has been a dance student since she was 4 years old studying ballet, jazz, Polynesian, contemporary and musical theater. Mairi’s first part in a play was If the Shoe Fits Buy it in a local production. She was in her school talent show and has participated in many dance recitals. Mairi is learning to play the piano. She recently saw Hairspray live at the Sacramento Broadway which furthered her love for Musical Theater. Mairi is excited to be a part of this production and has made new friends she adores.
Lexy Osburn (Gertrude McFuzz) is grateful for the opportunity to work with such talented people to make this fantastic show possible. Her passion for acting began during her freshman year at YCHS and has been a constant pursuit ever since. Despite having limited experience, Lexy is honored to have a lead role in the show. Lexy's shows have consisted of Clue: The Musical as Mrs. White, Pinocchio as Pinocchio and Lorenzo, all performed at YCHS and last year's production here at Center Stage Productions. Lexy's life off-stage is just as musical, playing piano, dancing, and singing in choir along with voice lessons.
Scarlet Osburn (Jungle Citizen, Cadet), being a jungle creature for this production of Seussical, is extremely exciting to be joining this crew. While she has no previous experience in theater, she is eager to learn all she can. With a past musical background such as singing in church nativity productions, learning piano, participating in ballet and tap at age 4, and now joining her older sister Lexy Osburn on stage, this is just one more thrilling adventure to embark on.
Rowan Reid (Wickersham, Grinch u/s) is an 11 year old male who is in 6th grade at Twin Rivers Charter School. He is so excited to be in his first musical Seussical! This last year, Rowan began dancing competively with Transitions Dance Center. In his free time he loves community service, dance, and bike rides. He hopes he does great in this show and hopes to do many more plays in the Yuba Sutter area. All in all Rowan hopes you all enjoy the show!
Ella Rhody (Bird Girl, Mayzie u/s) is excited to be with Center Stage Productions again this summer! She will be entering 7th grade at Twin Rivers Charter this year. Ella has performed as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde with TRCS drama program and also as Cinnamon in Comfort and Joy through Creative Light Theater. Aside from theater, Ella’s interests are dancing, singing, and Girl Scouts. Ella is excited to serve her community this year as she has recently been crowned Miss Teen Yuba Sutter. Ella hopes this show brings smiles and joy to the audience!!
EverLynn Sutton (Wickersham) is an incoming 4th grader who enjoys drawing, swimming, and video games. She has helped paint sets for numerous community shows and her onstage credits include Comedy of Errors for The Acting Company and Motherhood Out Loud with Convergence Theatre Company. Outside of theater, EverLynn is excited to be participating in Marysville’s first Rock Band Camp hosted by the Institute of Rock. She is learning to play the drums and looks forward to performing with her friends.
